Recent News:
  • Nov.10, 2001 - Bob Obermeyer from Barr Engineering volunteered time to visit the classes and discuss the project and how the Nine-mile Creek Watershed District could be involved. Classes are currently composing official requests for the wetland delineation of school property in Spring 2002.
  • 2004 - Wetland Boardwalk Added and Prairie Restoration Activities with Eric Burfiend's Science Classes
  • 2005 - Project Earth and SALT begin BuckThorn Removal, Trash Removal, and TrailBlazing
  • 2006 - SALT's First Annual "National Youth Service Day" event with music, food, and overnight camping
  • 2007 - This Service-Learning event continued trail development in section J and continued cleanup in section K
